SHOCK THEATER brings back the old days of staying up late on a Friday or Saturday night after your parents have gone to bed and then tuning into some scary movies. Shock Theater brings back the years of the drive in movie and the era of independently owned studios that produced low budget movies just for the drive in chains!
SHOCK THEATER is hosted by Dr. Whitefield the mad scientist of the internet tv airwaves! Dr. Whitefield and his guests will discuss the films and trivia surrounding all things monster, sci fi, mystery, splatter and grindhouse.
SHOCK THEATER can be seen every Friday and Saturday night starting at midnight EST USA. The format will be a recognized classic horror, sci fi, mystery film covering the silent era to the 1970's. After an intermission and cartoon the show resumes with a classic drive in movie that could be horror, psychedelic, grindhouse, splatter. There will be an occasional double feature as well as themed evenings.
SHOCK THEATER is meant to be a fun and nostalgic return to some of the scariest stories ever told on film. If going to the drive in was the high point of your week you will enjoy SHOCK THEATER, if you can remember drive ins with a Ferris wheel and a merry go round and live acts that would perform on the roof of the concession stand then you will enjoy SHOCK THEATER.
